john’s almost famous ribs

2 cups apple juice
1/2 soy sauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 bottle barbeque sauce
2 racks of spare ribs

Mix apple juice, soy sauce, maple syrup and apple cider vinegar. Place each rack or ribs in a 9″ by 13″ pan or casserole. pour liquid over ribs. Should only submerge halfway. Cover tightly with foil. Place in 250 degrees oven for 3 to 4 1/2 hours. Check after 3 hours. Meat should be tender and ready to fall off of the bone. Fork will Easily penetrate meat between ribs. When you are satisfied that the ribs are tender carefully move them to the grill. Baste each side with your favorite barbeque sauce while cooking for 5 minutes.
